If you're seeing this page, we've asked if you'd be interested in participating in a collaboration with Blend Creations to do a monster/kid-themed illustration for a special series of stainless steel pendants.

This series would be a limited-edition of 100 pendants that would be numbered and digitally signed by you, the artist, and produced by Blend Creations. Number "0" of the series would be a sample of the finished pendant that would go to you as a proof. The artist's commission would be $13.50 per pendant for a total of $1350 for the one illustration if all 100 pendants are sold. The commissions would be paid out per month based on the number of pendants sold.

Each pendant will retail exclusively through Blend Creations for $67, with $13.50 of this amount going directly to a children's charity. Half of this donation would be made in your name and half would be in Blend Creations' name. At this time, we'd really like it to go to UNICEF, as it is an international children's charity, and the artist would be able to receive a tax-receipt from the UNICEF committee of their country. (We're still in the process of getting more information from UNICEF at this time).

Where does the other $40 go?
While Metal for Monsters is an earnest effort to raise money for charity, it is not a non-profit organization. The costs of: materials (metal, boxes, engraving supplies), finishing (finishing belts), packaging (boxes), shipping (envelopes, transportation costs), web-hosting and other administrative costs would be covered.

When we get enough artist feedback, this site will be used to promote the Metal for Monsters series with links to purchase the pendants integrated with the Blend Creations site (where a shopping cart infrastructure already exists).
